He has over 40 years of experience selling, maintaining, distributing, and restoring motorcycles. In 1964, at the age of 18, he became the youngest Yamaha dealer in that company’s history. From 1964 to 1967 he owned and operated a Track & Trail Motorcycles dealership for Yamaha, Bultaco, CZ, and BSA. He then opened Yamaha West in Beaverton, OR. In 1972 he sold his dealership, but continued to ride and race motorcycles. He’s stopped racing, but still enjoys restoring bikes in his spare time. John manages all financial activities, as well as parts purchasing. An accomplished businessman with 25 years of experience selling electronics at both the wholesale and retail level, John was also a distributor of mobile satellite TV and mobile Internet services for motor homes, a business he established in 1995 and sold in 2007.
